Wedding Flowers at Bassmead Manor Barns

Alex and Rich had originally planned their wedding for May 2020, but unfortunately had to postpone a couple of months before when the pandemic hit. They rescheduled it for December and we all kept our fingers crossed that it would be able to go ahead on their new date.

As time went by and the Government imposed further restrictions on wedding guest numbers, they had to make the decision whether to postpone again or go ahead with a maximum of 15 people attending. The decision was made to go ahead and get married!

Clearly many elements needed to be scaled back, including the floral arrangements, but this didn't stop them from still having bridal party and ceremony flowers alongside table centrepieces.

They chose to have a colour theme of burgundy, blush, cream and gold so I filled their arrangements with roses, chrysanthemums, spray roses, antirrhinums and lisianthus. Here is Alex's bridal bouquet, beautifully captured by Lee Daniels Photography.

Many congratulations to them both and well done to them for persevering in such changeable times. I can't wait to create the floral arrangements for their celebration party in 2021!
