When I first met Claire to discuss her wedding flowers, I was filled with excitement at the ideas she already had - wild, tons of texture, large focal flowers... all set within the marvellous Chicheley Hall in Buckinghamshire. The colour palette was to be blush peach and pink and white throughout, but richer pink and red in her bridal bouquet.
Even though it was February, the sun shone down for Claire and Jamie's special day. Chicheley Hall and its stunning, but intimate setting provides a real 'wow' factor for those couples looking for a unique wedding venue.
The flowers used within Claire and Jamie's arrangements included roses, protea, eustoma, lilies, eryngium, astilbe and lush foliage including eucalyptus. I used pretty silver lanterns with flowers around to line the aisle, which were then moved to the reception tables following the ceremony. The entrance staircase was covered in a long foliage and flower garland which added a luxe touch to the overall look.
Claire wanted to provide something a bit different for her bridesmaids, so they each held a floral hoop. Something that I loved making!
This kind testimonial was provided by Claire and Jamie.
"Emma created my wedding flowers and from start to finish I was so impressed! She really knows her stuff and is happy to guide you if you don't know what you want! I was over the moon with all the flower arrangements on the day and got so many compliments! so thank you Emma!"
If you are looking for a florist for a Buckinghamshire wedding then I'd love to hear from you and chat about your wedding flowers.
